Ok, so I'm kind've into decorating my house with seasonal touches, not gonna lie - I bloody lavv it. I'm pretty sure I did blog posts on all my Christmas and Easter decorations, and now that Autumn's rolled around, I'm excited to show you my Halloween picks!

A Hallway Re-Vamp //

The little space under our stairs had been bugging me for ageees ~ the succulent I'd planted had died, I'd taken a print out of it's frame so that I could use the white border for something else and it had become a bit of a dumping ground for keys // coins // bit's of paper... basically it needed a re-vamp quick time. The only thing holding it somewhat together was my Swoon Editions cupboard, which I'm still so happy with!

Bathroom Bit's & Bobs //

I can't quite believe we've been putting off getting our bathroom done for over a year now! When we first moved in to our house we sort've prioritised all the other rooms with a hell of a lot of wallpaper stripping, painting and sanding going on, plus we pretty much spent the remainder of our money getting the kitchen done - ha! Fast forward a wee while and we've settled in and just lived with the bathroom, even if it has started to slowly break down on us (the toilet requires a fair bit of vigorous pumping in order to flush!). The end is finally in sight and we've started ordering everything ready for it to be fitted and of course I've been ordering all the accessories which I just had to show you!

I've been having a bit of a spring clean and a spruce up today, moving a few things around and hanging my planters (finally!) and I realised I've never really blogged about my living room and what I've been doing to make it all come together.

Even though I live pretty close to a big city, we still don't have an Anthropologie orrr H&M home store  - booo. Whilst we were in London I made the most of it and decided to splash out on a few things for our house - here's what I got!

New Primark Homeware //

I'm really loving Primark's homeware at the moment - it's super affordable and they have some really nice pieces which are great if you're on a budget or just like to change up your interiors a lot! I may have got a few other bits + bobs too because well, it's Primark and it's hard to resist!

I've always loved candles and the way they make a room feel super cosy and relaxing. There's always something soo luxurious about Diptyque's offerings - particularly their Valentines ones and this year is no different!

An Office Update //

We have a really tiny box room in our house that we didn't really know what to do with buttt it just about fits a desk in so we've made it into the smallest office space you ever did see! I'm planning on getting a different desk in here eventually and putting up some shelves but for the moment I've popped a few bits on the desk itself to make it look a little more homely.

I definitely had a vision of what I wanted these shelves to look like in my mind for a really long time, and although I had to put up with my mom nagging me that I should get wall cabinets I'm really glad I stuck to my guns! Open shelving seems to work really well in our small kitchen and I love all of our jars being out on display.

I think Christmas is one of the things I've been most excited about since we moved into our house. I've always loved decorating back when I lived with my parents, but there's just something so exciting about having your own place to spruce up and getting to choose all of your own decorations!

I always see them being sold alongside cinnamon sticks and pine cones but they're really expensive so I thought what the heck - why don't I just make my own.

It feels like a good few months since we went into the kitchen shop and decided on what we wanted but I'm pleased to report that it's all coming together (although I'm still waiting on a SMEG fridge!). Autumn is definitely my favourite season, but this year it feels like Halloween and the end of October has come around so so fast and I haven't had time to fully prepare! Dan and I actually had a morning free together for once, so instead of just working on the house like we usually do on days off, we decided to actually go out and do something fun for Halloween!

Who isn't on Pinterest these days? It's the perfect place to find inspiration on anything and everything and as Dan and I are moving in together very soon (fingers crossed!)
