I was actually planning on doing these posts before I went on holiday but I'm sorry to say I've been seriously slacking in the blog writing department (having two weeks off work and going to Greece can do that to you...), although at least now I can say which products I reached for the most whilst I was away! I'm gonna do a holiday post and tell you about my faveee parts of Rhodes too (I'm back on my blogging game haha!).

I always love reading these posts on other peoples blogs so I thought I'd write my own and let you take a sneaky peek into what I keep in my bag (excluding old receipts, various sweet/ crisp wrappers,  a tangled phone charger, panty liners and loose pieces of chewing gum - believe it or not they don't photograph too well!).

My Favourite Nude Lip Shades

I love a good 'my lips but better' shade - don't you? They're just so easy to wear, and finish off any make-up look with the minimal amount of effort required. There's no need to worry about the perils of lipstick on the teeth or getting the outline just so when wearing one of these shades. I thought I'd share some of my tried and tested favourites with you today (trust me some are veeery well loved!).

Nude Lip Treats // MAC Lipsticks - Brave + Peach Blossom

Can you believe I've never owned a MAC lipstick before the purchase of these two? Me either (what a rubbish beauty blogger eh?). I had to set the record straight and I decided I was going to do so with two easy to wear, super flattering nudes. Now I know they look super similar on my photo but I promise they're completely different when you see and swatch them in person.

I received both of these as samples when buying MAC face and body foundation (review to come on this soon!), and I have to say, using these in conjunction with each other provides a really great base for make-up.

Beauty Basics // Mac Paintpot Groundwork

This may not be the most flashy, exciting colour, but this little pot more than makes up for it in usefulness. It's a brown, neutral, almost matte cream shadow, which can be used on eyes as a primer or a gorgeous everyday your eyes but better look.
