I thought I'd do a little round up of my favourite products to use to enhance a tan and add shimmer and moisture to your skin - even though I'm not going on holiday this year :(

I've never really been one for a powder highlighter, I usually reach for a cream or liquid formulation, up until now that is! As soon as I laid eyes on this I knew I had to treat myself and branch out into the world of powder glow givers and boy am I glad that I did.

Beating The January Blues // No7 Shimmer Highlighter Rose Palette

I swear it feels like January's never going to end? The weathers cold, Christmas is over and all I want to do is curl up under the duvet until Spring finally rolls around. In order to get through what is definitely my least favourite month of the year I need some pretty make-up and I need it to do a good job at brightening up my dull, pale complexion. Let me tell you this No7 Shimmer Palette does all this and more for my face, and it comes in the prettiest rose gold packaging - what more could a girl ask for?

I'd been saving up my boots points for quite some time when I got chatting with the lady on the YSL counter (she was a very good sales person!). A few swatches later and I found myself walking away with some new items in tow and significantly less boots points than I started out with.

The Perfect Base // MAC Strobe Cream + MAC Prep + Prime

I received both of these as samples when buying MAC face and body foundation (review to come on this soon!), and I have to say, using these in conjunction with each other provides a really great base for make-up.

Spring Trio // Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette

I was umming and ahhring over this palette for soo long before I finally caved in and got it; even though I own a lot of blushers this was just too beautiful to pass up. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette was a limited edition trio of ambient lighting blushers in Luminous Flush (a warm rose), Incandescent Electra (a cool peach) and Mood Exposure (a brown plum).

Get The Glow // Topshop Glow Highlighter + Cream Highlighter Palette

On a recent shopping trip I popped into Topshop and noticed this little pot of cuteness and couldn't resist! I already own the glow pot highlighter in polish, a subtle silvery pink, so when I saw that topshop had made a rose gold version called gleam I had to have it.
