I've been meaning to try out some products from The Ordinary for such a long time, and around a month ago, I finally got round to placing an order on their website ~ I was pretty excited, let me tell you! They've only been around for just over a year, and in that time they've had A LOTT of positive press, mainly because they use such amazing, high quality ingredients in their products, but at a much more budget friendly price point.

Chanel Le Blanc Sheer Illuminating Base

I've been meaning to write a review on this for absolutely ages as it's actually a product that I get a fair bit of use out of. I sort've have a love-hate relationship with this Chanel primer/ base  - let's put it this way - it definitely has it's pro's and con's!

The Perfect Base // MAC Strobe Cream + MAC Prep + Prime

I received both of these as samples when buying MAC face and body foundation (review to come on this soon!), and I have to say, using these in conjunction with each other provides a really great base for make-up.

Staying Power // Laura Mercier Foundation Primer

What can I say… this primer gives some serious staying power to your make-up! I actually have a back up of this - that's when you know you love a product. It feels moisturising and velvety and helps any foundation and other face products I use stay put all day.

Make Your Eyeshadow Last // Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I got a small sample of this with my purchase of the original naked palette and loved it so much that I purchased the full size version when it ran out. I can't stress how amazing this is! I use it every time I wear eyeshadow (which is near enough every day) and it just doesn't budge ever. Before I discovered this my eyeshadow always creased with a couple of hours no matter what I wore, but I literally never have that problem now.
