Making The Most Of Your Money // The Beauty Points Cards To Know About

LIFESTYLE

If you're as addicted to beauty products as I am, you need to find some way to make yourself feel a little better about your purse emptying purchase, right? So here I have the answer: my favourite loyalty cards to allow you to get a little more bang for your buck…

First up it's the trusty Boots Advantage Card - seriously where have you been your entire life if you've never heard of one of these? I must've had this since I was about 16, and it's sure racked up a lot of points since then (sadly I've spent said points)! You get 4 points for every pound, with every point equalling a penny, which is a pretty good deal - Boots also does double and even triple points offers, and be sure to look out for all their Christmas deals - £12 worth of points when you spend £50 is a pretty good deal (that's 24% off); well worth it if you shop in Boots a lot anyway, or if there's something in particular you want to buy. The only annoying thing about this is you can't use your points as part-payment.

My next favourite is probably the Debenhams Beauty Club Reward Card, even though you don't get as many points as with the Boots Advantage Card (3 points/ pence per pound). Once you reach 500 points it converts to £5 off any beauty product. Debenhams also does lots of £10 off beauty days and other discounts, so it's well worth waiting for these to get extra discounts. You can also get emails about beauty freebies and free delivery so it's definitely well worth signing up.

Another good-un is the Space NK N.Dulge Points Card, even though it is a little confusing. You get 1 point for every pound, however when you reach 100 points you get £5 off. These points expire after only 3 months though so you have to be quick! You also get a little freebie when it's your birthday - I got a 15ml sample of the REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial which I'm hoping to review soon as I already had the full size version and love it!

The Superdrug Health and Beauty Card is most definitely my least used, however it was well worth me getting it purely for the fact it doubles up as a handy mirror. You only get 1 point for every pound spent, however you can use your points as part-payment, and they do some double point items.

All of these points cards are completely free to get, so you may as well go for it!
